Jessie is a warm and grounded bilingual English- and Mandarin-speaking therapist who brings a thoughtful, culturally attuned approach to her work with clients.

She earned her Master’s in Counseling from Adler University in Chicago, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and International Business from Tianjin Foreign Studies University in China. Jessie also has a Master's Degree in Art Therapy from Adler University and is currently completing an additional training in EMDR, expected in spring 2026.

Jessie has been a guest lecturer and seminar instructor at Butler University and Beijing Normal University.

Jessie works with adults, adolescents, couples, and older adults, offering an integrative, strengths-based approach tailored to each client’s needs. She thoughtfully weaves together evidence-based modalities—including cognitive behavioral therapy, Adlerian theory, and narrative therapy—with expressive and body-based practices such as art therapy, somatic interventions, and writing. Her style is both grounded and creative, supporting clients in accessing insight, processing complex emotions, and moving toward meaningful, lasting change.

She has a particular passion for supporting working mothers and individuals navigating ADHD and neurodivergence, offering a compassionate, supportive space that honors each person’s unique way of thinking, feeling, and functioning.

Jessie is also deeply committed to cross-cultural understanding. She enjoys working with first and second-generation clients and those navigating the complexities of living between cultures.
